The Staircase

October 29th, 2020

Inner Sanctum will have several entryways. One of them is on the back side of the property. The only problem was that where the door is supposed to go was blocked by a set of stairs that cut diagonally across the building. To resolve that problem, we needed to remove an old, rickety staircase that was twisted enough to be reminiscent of an M.C. Escher painting and rebuild it at a different angle to the house. Demolishing a 30 feet tall staircase was no easy feat!
